We will perform private autopsies for families who have questions following the death of a family member. We will not, however, perform a private autopsy if the death occurred in a county for which our office serves as the Medical Examiner and the death was, or should have been, investigated by our office. If a private autopsy is requested, and the death was not or should not have been under the jurisdiction of the medical examiner, please call our office or contact our on-call private examination coordinator at 844.337.6001 ext. 135.
